Olympe de Gouges was a free-thinking woman whose ideas were far ahead of her time.

Defending these convictions cost her her life during the French Revolution.

She encourages us to want to continue her fight for equality between

men and women through the prism of art. 

 

The Olympe de Gouges Gallery presents free-thinking and socially

aware artists with a critical view of the contemporary world.

 

Through the work of our artists, Olympe de Gouges spirit lives on at 11 rue de l’Odéon.

 

The gallery, created in 2015, aims to offer an innovative multi-disciplinary

environment where the spirit counts for as much as the body.
